A complete emotional rollercoaster for me on this day. President Elect Obama is here to give me great hope. My house-mate and almost 20 years one of my best friends passed her final to become a nurse. ... And my dearest little Juno Pickle-Pie passed on to other side to chase squirrels with Sammy and wait for us.

Today I have reason to celebrate the next four years with promise of hard work, heavily laced with great hope. I have reason to cheer a wonderful person and beautiful friend on to her next step toward her life's purpse and her greatest bliss. I also have reason to pause and celebrate, as well as mourn the passing of a life completely committed to the happiness and security of those she loved. There will be more on this, I'm sure. I cannot really put it all together tonight. My emotions are a little schizophrenic.
